Puroflux PF-64’s with real ROI!
Detroit, MI – The IRS office in Detroit has three-cell Marley NC9067GS built in 1994 that was not equipped with sweeper piping. After over 30-years of service, they were tired of having issues with chiller fouling and mainly the maintaining of the basins.
They recruited the assistance of the local representative, Michael Chimko of RBE Incorporated for a solution. Michael worked closely with Puroflux, the engineer, mechanical contractor and end user to come up with a solution. Ultimately they settled on a high head Puroflux PF-64H-060A-AP and a highly tailored sweeper system for the tower. After a couple of years of operation, the cooling tower basins have required far less maintenance and chiller fouling has not been a factor, saving thousands of dollars in labor and energy costs. These savings will continue long after the equipment has paid for itself!
No matter how old your tower is, chances are it could be retrofit with new sweeper piping and filtration. If you have the make and model of your cooling tower; contact your local representative (https://www.puroflux.com/rep-locator) or me at Dennis.Jamison@puroflux.com.
Please contact your local Puroflux representative with your cooling tower model and be on your way to a cleaner and more efficient cooling system.
